After a loss in their season opener against the Washington Freedom, the Seattle Orcas are looking to bounce back and get on the board. Texas, on the other hand, enters the match riding high after two back-to-back wins.

Head-to-Head History

Over the past two seasons, Seattle and Texas have built a compelling rivalry. We swept both meetings in MLC’s inaugural season in 2023, but Texas responded in 2024 with a win of their own, narrowing the head-to-head record. As these two sides meet for the fourth time, our boys will be aiming to reassert their dominance and secure a much-needed victory.

Players to Watch

For the Seattle Orcas, Captain Heinrich Klaasen continues to be the backbone of the batting unit. His calm presence in the middle and ability to shift gears make him a key figure in the lineup. At the top, David Warner and Kyle Mayers showed glimpses of their power-hitting potential in the season opener, giving Seattle a strong start in the powerplay.

All-rounder Sikandar Raza will play a critical role in the middle overs with both bat and ball, bringing balance and flexibility to the side.
